The Drunken Sailor
I play poker with a group of friends most Fridays. It is a pretty friendly game but recently a new prize was added to the main pot....The Drunken Sailor. If you win, you get to take home the drunken sailor, but only for a week. You have to bring him back to the poker game next week and he is up for grabs for the next winner. It is silly - but fun! :) I got to take home the drunken sailor last week, however Rocco is not so sure about our temporary house guest.

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

This Memorial Day Weekend I had a small cookout with some of my family. Dad drove over from Fairfax and my Grandparents came down from Avon Lake. We got to break in the new grill and patio set and enjoy the first official weekend of Summer. Rocco loved having visitors and wore himself out with all of the excitement - he was too pooped to party for the rest of the weekend! :)
We decided Grandpa and Rocco have similar hairstyles - do you see a resemblance?? :)

Rocco was so tired he fell asleep half on the couch - half on Dad.

Green Paws
Bring on the Heat!

When I bought my house a year ago it did not have central air - so I knew that would have to be one of my first major investments in the house. Before I could have the unit installed, I had to have some electrical work done. My friend Mark did the electrical for me, but I must admit it was a little nerve-wrecking watching him drill a big hole through my wall to the outside. :) Because I don't have a basement, hiding the lines created a new project (the joys of home ownership). We decided to run the lines infront of my existing soffit and hide them with some new dry wall. My friend Don is going to finish off the dry wall next week and we will be ready for paint. I am officially ready for a hot summer!
Sarah's Bridal Shower

I went to Columbus a few weeks ago for my cousin Sarah's bridal shower. We had a great day - the sun was shining and so was the bride-to-be! The girls in her bridal party did a cute skit I had never seen before. They made a little poem discribing the evolution of Sarah's "panties" in her upcoming years wiht Jason. Of course the panties started our very small and sexy, and ended up as Grandma panites at the end. It was really cute! I can't wait for the wedding in June!

Easter Weekend
Chillin like Villians
This is as close as Peyton got to enjoying Rocco's company
My girls!
Rocco loves to give Grandpa kisses! My family came to stay with me on Easter weekend - Yayyy! We had a full house but loved every minute of it! We cooked a big Easter dinner - for 10 - on Saturday so that everyone could travel home that evening or early Sunday morning. Whewww - who knew making family dinner could wear you out so much. I have new respect for all of those big feasts my parents have put on over the years!!!

My New Page
Hi All!
I wanted to have a place to share updates and pictures so I created this website. My friend Jen uses it and I love to check out pictures of her and her family on it. I hope you enjoy!
